Hi there,
wieder ein paar tage hinter mich gebracht, wir sind am montag morgen von Victoria mit dem Malahat express nach Courtnay gefahren, der zug besteht nur aus einem Waggon und faehrt die kueste an der ostseite von vancouver island ab nach courtnay im Comox-valley.



Wir hatten nicht reserviert und es gab auch keine freien plaetze mehr, aber irgendjemand hat seine tikets gecancelt und so haben wir die lezten beiden karten bekommen. Dann sind wir die 5 stunden an der kueste ueber hohe bruecken, durch taeler und am wasser lang auf der wackligen strecke nach courtnay gefahren. Unterwegs haben wir uns mit einer Oma unterhalten, die uns dann noch zum essen eingeladen hat, aber weil sie etwas gehbehindert ist hat sie uns 50 dollar in die hand gedrueckt und ein restaurant in comox empfohlen, was bekannt fuer seafood ist.

In Courtnay hat uns dann jemand vom bahnhof aus direkt zum hotel gefahren, extremst freundlich.....

Dann sind wir mitm Bus nach comox zum besagten restaurant gefahren, ahtten hervorragendes essen, ein supergeile hafen in dem robben rumschwammen, sehr nette leute ueberall, jeder gruesste uns, scheint eines der nettesten doerfchen von ganz vancouver island zu sein, viele leute kaufen sich hier ein haus fuer ihren altersitz weil das klima nett ist und die gegend superschoen.





Gestern sind wir dann nach vancouver island mit bus und faehre zurueck, ich habe Niels am busbahnhof verabschiedet, weil er weiter nach Banff in den Rockys will.

Ich habe mir heute morgen mein Longboard geschnappt, bin um Stanley island rumgefahren, war dann ein wenig shoppen im skatehop, was nettes essen und werde dann gleich nochmal an den hafen, denke ich. Morgen frueh gehts mitm flieger nach calgary zurueck, dann mal sehen was ich den letzten tag in canada mache.....
